How to choose the course level to attend?
Excel Introduction: If you have little experience using Excel and need to understand Formulas/Functions and are having trouble getting it to print without those reams of blank pages or the heading are not repeating on your lists, then start with some Excel Introduction topics.
Excel Intermediate: It’s hard to decide what level Excel Course to sign up for, but if you need to improve your basic Formulas and Functions skills to be able to do for complex functions like; Vlookup, IF, Index, Match, functions to help you clean up data. Excel Intermediate course topics are for most people.
Excel Advanced: If you work with large amounts of data and find your self-collating , analysing and doing repetative work try Excel Advanced in Sydney. You will learn Data consolidating, analysis tools like: Goal seek, Data tables and Scenarios. Pivot tables are a great summary tool for large amounts of data and Macros will help with all those repetative tasks.
MicroSoft Publisher
If you have ever needed to create a pamphlet, short booklet, certificate, Bookmarkers, Newsletter, Business Card, need to get creative with a document that needs textboxes and pictures easily places exactly where you need them, then Publisher is the tool for you and it is part of the Microsoft Office suite. Microsoft Word
Some people underestimate the power of Microsoft Word because we now use outlook for our basic letter writing. However, did you know that if you are writing a comprehensive email you can use word features like styles to create a consistency in your headings, tables, AutoText (Quick Parts) and more. Word is great for anything over 5 pages long Meeting minutes, setting up processes and procedures, Proposals, Contracts, Documentation that requires graphs and pictures. How to choose the course level to attend?
Word Introduction: If you have limited experience with Word and need to put together a short document with text and pictures but find you are always struggling, then start with Word Introduction.
Word Intermediate: Here you will learn about creating News Letter type documents, Inserting Tables. Did you know that if you have formulas to include in your table you can Insert and Excel Table. You don’t have to go out side of Word and jump to Excel then create your spreadsheet copy then jump back to Word to paste. No it’s all done with in Word. Word Advanced: If you need to put together a Word document which is more than a few pages long then you will need to know about styles and table of contents this is covered at a Word Advanced level course. If you need to set up forms and template using fields – Word Advanced in the level to sign up for. This is the level that most people will book themselves into because they feel that they already have basic Word Formatting skills.
MicroSoft Access
Access is a database that can be used as a middleman to refine your data, you may have tried with Excel but it’s not relational or you might like to take advantage of the full capabilities of Access and create a database for data entry and reporting. Managing Outlook Efficiently
Everyone in the business world uses Outlook, it’s your emailing tool but did you know you can create repetative text at the push of a button, use styles, and tables. Our Outlook training session will guide you through some Time Management concepts to help you get your inbox and sent items folders under control. You can create shortcuts to often used folders. There is only one level of an Outlook course to choose from because the course is designed to spend more or less time in the areas that are best for the client. Setting up Outlook to be most efficient for the way you work with it is the most important process. In our Outlook course we cover concepts on automating process for you,creating multiple signatures and how to switch between them easily, create repetative text at the push of a button.
MicroSoft Power Point
Power Point is a presentation prompter for meetings using visual aids to get a message across. It’s one of those packages that people can get up and running without too much training. It’s the details that you get out of a training session such as how to animate graphs, display one bullet point at a time. Multiple animations on one image. How to choose the course level to attend?
Power Point Introduction: Power Point Introduction is really Introduction/Intermediate because most people have some exposure or experience with basic formatting be it in Power Point, Word, Excel, Outlook or Publisher even other non Microsoft Office Software products. The Power Point Introduction courses focus on an overview of how to construct a Power Point using layouts correctly and the built in features like Bullets, Smart Art, Pictures and Graphs.
Power Point Advanced: If you need to understand how to make changes to multiple slides made easy, setting animations to pictures, even multiple animations. Animating text so that the bullets and sub bullets come in separately and disappear or fade. Working with Power Point Slide Masters that others have set. If you deliver your Power Point presentations to multiple audiences and need to use multi media then Power Point Advanced is the level to apply for.
